Building a company is hard work and certainly not glamorous. My days are spent on the phone or on a plane and sometimes both. When I’m not in meetings or at my desk in the office you can be sure I’m feverishly looking for a WiFi hotspot or consuming minutes on my wireless data plan or mistreating my Treo with my thumbs. However, every once in a while there are rewards and a recent one for me was meeting Malcolm Gladwell. As you know, Malcolm is the author of two books, “The Tipping Point: How Little Things Make a Big Difference,” (2000) and “Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking” (2005), both of which were number one New York Times bestsellers. In 2005 he was named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.

Unfortunately, for most of the time I got to spend with him we talked about Platinum Blue and me. Next time I’ll shut up!

See video of Malcolm Gladwell describing hit clusters.
