I have recently been asked to join the advisory board for a new and exciting company called Dremāk (pronounced “Dream Make“)out of Dallas, Texas.
It’s a very exciting company that is installing mini-recording and audition studios in shopping malls and commercial centers which will allow budding artists to record demos, audition for opportunities in Hollywood or Broadway without having to travel or just have a professional record of their work. On one had it can be thought of as the Glamour Shots for the performing arts and on the other it can be thought of as remote auditioning studios for anyone seeking talent.
The company’s goals are to:
“… apply an innovative combination of technology and business processes to address the following:
The use of our powerful and advanced technology platform network that manages and distributes digital content over the Internet.
Provide a value added service of connecting talent to casting directors, casting companies, record labels, production companies and reality TV producers through a Fully Automated Interactive Audition Studio.
Access to our automated video auditioning studios allowing a large number of individuals around the nation the opportunity to create a high quality audition video of their performance in a private professional environment.
The guys who run the company are smart, ambitious, savvy and Texan. How could they fail?
