I saw this clip on NBC Nightly News last night. It turns out scientists tracked 5,000 people over 20 years and those that had all of the bad habits listed above aged about 12 years more than people their age who had none of those habits. Additionally, 29% of them died as opposed to only 8% in the group that didn’t drink or smoke and ate healthy while exercising regularly.

Maybe it’s just true that time flies when you’re having fun and seems to drag on for 12 years when you’re at the gym. See the video below.
