Cue sad trombone (wah wah waaaaaaah). Still at 210 today. Not 209 like I intended. OK. It’s going to be a rough day because I’m so frickin’ hungry. I have a lot to do and a lot of people to talk to today so I need to hold it together. A beer sounds really good [...]

Weight – 210 lbs. OK. One day and one pound down. I know these first pounds are the easiest so I’m not planning on getting cocky. Yesterday, I did polish off a few carbs that were laying around the house so I wasn’t as strict as I will be from here on out. For protein [...]

The main event is the exchange of gifts between sweethearts, loved ones and respected ones.
As per my last post on this blog, I’ve been playing around with About.me for the past few days, curating my profile and checking out others’ profiles. I think About.me is really interesting. It’s fun to just flick through the featured profiles, and to just stumble upon random ones. It’s like people-watching in an airport [...]

In Ord, the locals have a special place in their hearts for the Cetak (pronounced Che-tock) family, who have always run the best local meat-cutting business. In fact, any time a family member of mine goes back to visit, it is expected they will bring back a few packages of cold cuts, steaks and hot dogs from A.J. Cetak’s Meat Market. But this holiday season I become aware that the Cetak’s have gone national with a website and national delivery network that can put this incredible product on your table no matter where you live. If you like your taste buds you have got to place an order. You won’t be disappointed.
